Vintage Knits

My husbands aunt died last month and I was lucky to be given her knitting pattern bag. There are lots of beauties in it that I want to work on to make them suitable for modern yarns and sizes. Womens shapes have changed over the years and an old size 12 is most definately not the same as a modern day size 12.

I found this cute Fair Isle pattern on Ebay and I have been working on it. I think it looks fabulous with either the James Brett Partytime Chunky for the Fair Isle or just plain.

I'm busy knitting up a few ready to stock The Rock Craft and Coffee Shop in Castlerock NI and my website.

I've been working hard on a new hat design to match my Binevenagh Scarf. I'm quite excited by it. It will be off to the testers next week and ready by the end of the month.
