The colours in this shawl reminded me of the Taisie Glen near Ballycastle here in Northern Ireland. This is a modular knit and and is a great way of using up your bits and pieces of DK yarn. I have also knit this piece in pure wool aran. I love the black and multicoloured shawl the best. There are lots of fabulous self patterning yarns around and these are perfect for theis pattern
