Good afternoon everyone. I am starting my blanket all over again as the yarn that I had bought for it finally arrived today. For this strip you will need to learn

s1,k1,psso - slip the first stitch from the left needle to the right needle without working, knit one stitch then pass the slip stitch over the stitch just worked

ywd - Bring the yarn forward from between stitches and under the right hand needle, then take the yarn over the top of the needle ready to knit the next stitch.


CAST ON 36 stitches

Knit 4 rows ( this is your base rows only do this once)

Row1 - k3, p2,*k5,p2* - repeat *-* until last 3 stitches, k3

Row2 - k5,*p5,k2*- repeat *-* until last 3 sts,k3

Row3 - k3,p2,*k2tog,yfwd,k1,yfwd,s1,k1,psso,p2*- repeat * - * until last 3 sts, k3

Row 4- k5,*p5,k2* repeat *-* until last 3 sts, k3

continue working rows 1-4 until your work measures 40" or your required measurement

knit 3 rows - cast off
