CAST ON
Aran Weight 5mm - 22 stitches
Double Knitting - 4mm - 26 stitches
Row 1 - knit
Row 2 - k2, *k2tog* (knit 2 together) repeat *-* until last 2 stitches, k2
Row 3 - k2, *kfb* (knit into the front and back of the stitch) repeat *-* until last 2sts, k2.
Row 4 - k2,purl until last 2 stitches, k2
Repeat rows 1 - 4 until your work measures 4" cast off
