ARAN WEIGHT 4.5mm needles

cast on 20 stitches

Row 1 - knit

Row 2 - purl

Row 3 - knit

Row 4 - purl

Row 5 - k1,*p1,k3* repeat *-* until last 3 stitches p1,k2

Row 6 - purl

Row 7 - knit

Row 8 - purl

DOUBLE KNITTING - 4mm needles

Cast on 22 stitches and work rows 1 - 4 as pattern for aran weight

Row 5 - k2, *p1,k3* repeat *-* until the end of the row

Rows 6 - 8 as aran pattern

Work rows 1 - 8 until your work measures 4" cast off
