Square number 40

Wow we have reached Square 40. Tomorrow I start on designing our new project which will start on 25th May.

yrn - take your yarn round your right needle ready to purl the next st. You should have a loop on your right needle.

p2tog - purl the next two stitches together.

Aran weight yarn 4.5mm needles 18sts

Dk and 4mm needles 22 sts

Row 1 - k2,* yrn,p2tog,k2 * repeat *-* until the end of the row

Repeat row 1 until your work measures 4" cast off

This is a fabulous stitch for a baby blanket. It is made up of multiples of 4 stitches plus 2 extra stitches.

I still have a bit to go on my blanket. I look forward to seeing everyone's when they are finished.
